springtime baseball
Following up on my comments about baseball and warm weather. I would just like to concur with myself on that. Yeah, that’s right. I did just say that. I went to the Cubs game last night and I had to wear layers! I can’t remember the last time that I had to wear a coat to a baseball game (cubs either don’t make it or I can’t afford playoff baseball). It was a good game and I had a great time, but I’m sticking to my idea: shorten the season by 20 games and start in warmer weather(a majority of people don’t hardly realize when baseball season starts anyway. “it’s baseball season already?”). Fans are happy, players are happy and I am happy. To quote The Office “that’s the best option…it’s a win, win, win situation…everyone wins”.

I love that you quoted that quote from The Office. One of my faves. But I disagree – freezing at baseball games is classic. It’s part of the charm of being a fan – you get to tough it out and complain while not-so-secretly wearing it like a badge of honor.
